Problems with the Hood Method – RH 7 of 21

Initially adopted in Europe, the hood method was later standardized in the USA as ASTM F2420, though that standard was withdrawn in 2014. Its sensitivity to concrete conditions and the time needed to yield accurate results make it impractical in many situations.
