RH Insertion Tool

Rogue River, OR (August 2012) – Once again, Wagner Meters has combined technical expertise with its understanding of customer application to offer the best in RH testing.

Changes to the ASTM F2170 standard in late 2011 saw Wagner Meters keep the Rapid RH® 4.0 EX at the leading edge of industry concrete moisture testing standards with its “stackable” sleeve liner for full compliance. In addition, the EX-version Smart Sensor and newly-redesigned Rapid RH® 4.0 EX insertion tool offer simpler, more ergonomic test hole preparation and RH readings.

What has not changed is Wagner Meters’ commitment to providing products that ensure complete industry standard compliance and customer satisfaction.

The original Rapid RH® ( from Wagner Meters set the bar for accurate, affordable relative humidity (RH) testing in concrete. Its innovative design and ease-of-use had the additional advantage of ensured compliance with all previous ASTM F2170 standards.

The Rapid RH® 4.0 EX continues that tradition of field-directed improvements and ASTM compliance with a more robust and extraordinarily useful multi-purpose insertion tool and associated procedures. The new Rapid RH® 4.0 EX insertion tool allows installers to know when they have a correctly-sized, uniformly round test hole. A multi-stepped and multi-purpose insertion tool, it is ergonomically superior to any prior Rapid RH® insertion tool design.

Like all Wagner products, the new insertion tool will be fully supported with immediate manual inserts and a short demonstration video that clearly illustrates the benefits. The new Rapid RH® 4.0 EX completely syncs with Wagner’s current Easy Reader so there is no need to replace an entire test system.

Easier Smart Sensor installation, full ASTM compliance, and full design compatibility- that’s the Rapid RH® 4.0 EX.
