I have a client who oeprates a doggy dare care facility and has some worn out roll rubber ( couple thousand sf) he wants to repair or resurface if possible. I was wondering if any of you rubber guru's out there know of anything.
I looked at the Nora rubber website and they have pads for buffers, but not sure if thats just for regular maintenance or not. They also state the pads are not to be used on anyone elses rubber.
And I found a rubber sealer called Clean Break. Optimally he would like some new surface coating or something. help....
Is it homogenous rubber like Nora? The pads they sell are pretty ingenious, they ave diamonds in them to essentall polish the floor clean. Amazing idea, accelerate wear on the floor to clean it. Like printing $$$.
You can always glue rubber to rubber if down tight. When we used to rep ecore products (had line for 15+ years) we did LOTS of doggy daycare and be hospitals in recycled rubber. It would never wear out. A few times we had to replace some and we could glue 4mm to the surface or just replace. You can find it pretty cheap online and if you need a lower price call an athletic flooring company. Mist have access to the products under private labels at much lower prices than reps can provide.
Solid rubber floors such as Nora are easily renewed!!
Yes, you will take a microscopic layer off the top, but the floor will be like new afterwards. I have done this many times and it is amazing to see the results.
Concrete Answers for Flooring Problems
Thats the problem. I don't know whose rubber it is. So why does Nora say you can only use their pads with their rubber? [/font]
It is the European way, very vertical. Forbo, gerflor, same deal. I like it. Follow instructions no questions asked. Take some pics if you can't identify it. Post em and send to Nora rep.
