Can you please inform as to the length of time the probes can remain working when installed in the slab?

    • Jason Spangler says:

The 4.0 EX sensor can be used indefinitely (limited to the dating on the certificate of calibration), but in higher RH% environments (over 90%), the sensor in the 4.0EX may be slower to react to the actual drying conditions of the slab. In the new L6, the experience should be different. With either, we always recommend, when going into slabs you know to be higher RH% (new construction) that you do sampling, prior to installing a full number of sensors. This allows you to install sensors at different points in time and validate each sample sets results.
