Concrete Moisture Tests

I highly recommend that you go to the website and view that. In addition, there are some other resources that I'd like to call your attention to. Very, very fine book, the second edition is out right now, of a book written by Howard Kanare. You can acquire that from the Portland Cement Association; it is titled, "Concrete Floors and Moisture". It has a lot of good information, very, very good scientific data. A lot of that data went into this presentation and it gives you a lot of ammunition that you're going to need when you're out there doing this testing.

There's also an American Concrete Institute Standard Guide for concrete slabs that will receive moisture-sensitive flooring. You can acquire that from American Concrete Institute.

The ASTM F2170 Standard for relative humidity and the ASTM F710 Guideline for installing resilient floors on concrete slabs can both be acquired from astm.org. ASTM, the American Society for Testing Materials, they are the body in North America for writing standards and methods for things such as this.

Lastly, again, go to the Rapid RH website, we have a lot of resources there. Some very good articles, some very good links that you can go to, some good information to help you again.
