5 On the Job Tips
In this month’s video Jason reviews 5 tips he’s picked up in the field.
5 Things GC’s Need to Know About Moisture in Concrete
As a general contractor, you’re expected to know every aspect of the construction project. Of course, you need to trust the trade specialists on the team, but having key information can be crucial to your role in overseeing the schedule and budget of the project as a whole.
Nowhere is this more important than in the area of moisture testing in concrete. Concrete provides the foundation for key systems in most modern building projects, so understanding the need for accurate moisture testing can provide the basis for better schedule management, and prevent future problems down the road.
What to Never Expect on the Job Site
Every construction job site is an exercise in team work as each contractor and specialist takes his or her role in the stages of the building project.
Beginning with the designer and architect, each building project is a master plan of schedules, materials, costs, labor and vision, and each person involved is expected to be a master of the trade with a working knowledge of the requirements of the building’s overall function and purpose.

Subject: Worn Rubber
I have a client who operates a doggy day care facility and has some worn out roll rubber (couple thousand sq ft) he wants to repair or resurface if possible. I was wondering if any of your rubber guru’s out there know of anything.
I looked at the Nora rubber website and they have pads for buffers, but not sure if that’s just for regular maintenance or not. They also state the pads are not to be used on anyone else’s rubber.
And I found a rubber sealer called Clean Break. Optimally he would like some new surface coating or something.
