About this Moisture Meter

The C575 concrete moisture meter provides relative readings on concrete slabs and is used as a qualitative quick scan test to determine the most appropriate areas to place true quantitative tests. For ASTM-standard quantitative tests, visit our Rapid RH® site. With concrete moisture meters, there is no correlation between MC % of the concrete and the readings. The MC% is not an exact percentage and should not be used to determine the moisture in concrete. The readings are relative readings and should only be used to determine if further testing is needed and where to place further tests such as the Rapid RH. The C575 meter gives a general moisture indication to 3/4".
