Isn't that just "The Chicago Way"? Kickback central. We have a town or two like that. One of them is Canberra.

I agree, in the early summer during the Taste of Chicago, it is one of the most beautiful downtown cities. They have done a great job fixing it up. We were there for my wifes CLE and stayed at a hotel right on the river, back side of hotel is virtually over looking it.

The female russian bartender made the best dirty matrini's I have ever had.

Got a reasonable hotel on E Ohio, I think, not far from the pier. Can't wait.

Still ICRI can't tell us where the course is!

You betcha JD - $120- ish p/n. It's just around the corner from my boss's favourite pub- Timmy O'Tooles. I hear it's a downstairs drinkery, so I expect to see Ted Danson and Shelley Long there.

Well Chicago is nice, more so without jetlag!

Although I know nobody here, I've scored 3 tix to a Cubs game (don't ask!) If anyone who's at ICRI wants to go, let me know!

Sorry I haven't connected with you yet Pat, I tried to call and got a message that your number isn't accepting calls at this time. I will try again tonight... When you called the number came up on my phone with an extra digit! The last 4 numbers came up as 5 numbers Huh

14687 is what shows on my phone... So something is wrong there...

I am running a Bobcat all day today and then working Monday and Tuesday, but I'll figure something out and meet up with you later this week.
