Is RapidRH 4.0 compatible with ASTM 2170-11?

NO manufacturer in the marketplace, that I am aware of, is 100% compatible with this latest revision. The Rapid RH is one of the closest, as you can see based on my quick outline, and would see even clearer if you had the revision and saw the drawings. There will be a transitional phase for all, some worse than others, in order to attempt to make RH readings more reproducible among the different devices currently available in the marketplace.

Jason said the sleeve must be the entire depth of the hole. He did not say if the sleeve can be two piece.

WELL Sleeves can be two pieces. Much easier to adjust for depth. The anti-tank weapons I used to shoot in the Army had a two-piece tube that extended out to make the barrel that fired the rocket. You could do something like that (without the explosives though... Aw heck, make every hundreth one a 'surprise!' to keep us sharp.)

I qualified as 'Marksman' with that bad boy.... Had to shoot moving tanks at various distances.... It was a blast!!

Actually it's not! There are different sights for different distances as the rocket drops quite a bit as it flies. Then you have to lead the tank quite a bit and you have to hit it in a vital spot like a drive wheel or between the turret and the track. The rocket tip is really cool because it can penetrate through thick steel and when it gets inside it explodes (probably because it was just compressed going through the thick armor) and makes a real mess inside...

I was always nervous that as the rocket leaves the tube the flame out the back would burn my face off, but it doesn't. It's loud as heck though!

Everyone should have the opportunity to fire a LAW weapon... Maybe at the big Wagner picnic this spring we can get a few pallets of anti-tank weapons and have a good ol' time
