Stephen, you may be disappointed to find out that 300 is not the magic number for the next level. Sad

I have to get busy and post a couple hundred new threads.... Wink

Ha ha! I thought there might be some sort of quiz to get to the next level of concrete guru. Now that would be fun.

Yes, yes I am watching -- very closely -- I even happen to know when you take your dog out to do her business…at least if you're JD and it's yesterday morning and you post about it…lol

I was talking with our team this morning and it's not a test that we'll require to get to the next level, but a 1000 word essay about drying concrete. 46.8% of those words need to be 5 syllables or longer.

Seriously though, even though the next level isn't until 500 posts, we were thinking of creating some sort of badge or title addition to users who developed 2 or more articles (has to be original content) about how moisture in the concrete subfloor plays into the whole building picture. We could publish the articles on this forum or other concrete related websites. Any thoughts on that?

Heidi

RE: No fireworks at 300...
Please review the following for my first article.

It was a dark and stormy night.
I went to a job for a client.
The floor was failing.
I opened the floor and the glue was stringy and the seement was wet.
I told the maintenance guy I felt the problem was moisture. He thought it was the antidisestablishmentarianism attitude of the facility management.
He said fix it before somebody gets Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconeosis breathing the moldy air.
I fixed it.

JD,

that looks like a great start. I especially appreciate how you are bringing awareness of the dangers of Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconeosis in this industry to the forefront.
