Ray that is not my point. I'm not looking at removing a surface.

I'm talking about the smoothness needed for resilient sheet flooring. A CSP of 3-4 would need to be re surfaced to put flooring on.

Concrete should have the texture of about 100 grit sandpaper to obtain a good mechanical bond for sheet vinyl adhesives and especially epoxies. Burnished concrete not only compromises adhesive bond, but retards the moisture drying in a timely fashion. If the moisture is there it is going to get out eventually.

Agreed Ray. The big issue is open and porous, and sandpaper type texture is an easy reference. Sandpaper is everywhere.

Looking back over the posts, that CC Solutions guy has some good info on this thread... Big Grin
