high rh in concrete

Before flooring is installed how can you lower rh to acceptable
levels.concrete is poured six months rh is still reading at 90%

when I get jobs like this I go through my standard checklist:

Is there a vapor retarder under the slab?
Is the HVAC on?
Is the surface hard troweled?

If you have no vapor retarder, or the HVAC isn’t on or hasn’t been on very long, or if the surface is hard troweled, you’re in for a long drying process. The easiest, although not the cheapest, option is to put an epoxy or some sort of moisture seal on that will prevent the RH from getting to your floor covering. Or you could put some dehumidifiers in the room to possibly speed up the drying process.
