Good ol' MVER. You must feel so nostalgic JK! We still have some carpet manufacturers who spec MVER. The Carpet Standard has not been reviewed for a while, at least not the testing part. I'm dreading my first official test job being MVER.

Do you leave 24 hours between grinding and placing the kit regardless of the subfloor? 1869 says you don't need to for new concrete or where coverings were removed minimum 30 days prior so I'm assuming that it's a good idea to do it anyway.

Also, pardon my ignorance, can someone explain the difference between lightweight and heavyweight- I know it's to do with the density of the aggregate but is there a clear boundary of definition or is it a shade of grey- if that makes sense..?
