RE: Cal Chlor Test
I was just messin with you guys. Everything will be according to ASTM F1869-11. That's the latest version I'm aware of. Always prep to CSP 1 or 2, 24 hours before placing the test kits. Can't tell you the number of people who just grind and slap the kits down
![]() A painter, of all people told me this morning he was just on a job where the tester did exactly that, AND placed all the kits in the middle of the room. ASTM actually leaves it up to the general discretion of the tester where to place the kits. Obviously, this person didn't even think about the variables that can occur from perimeter walls to interior areas. Ugh! No wonder we still have failures on "tested" slabs!!!
