The end is near!!!!

I just got in from blowing snow... We got somewhere between 16" and 20" of a heavy wet snow. Now the wind has picked up to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph. Even though the snow is so heavy, those high winds are drifting it.

I went to town and the streets are in terrible shape. Cars are driving on the snow before the plows clear the streets, then the plows can't scrape the packed snow off. So the streets are a bumpy rutted mess.

I drove back home with my truck in 4 wheel drive and found the plow went down my road and pushed 3 feet of snow into the end of my driveway. I have 35" tires and a lift kit and I still pushed snow with my grill, it was that high!

Schools have been called off for today and tomorrow. The State Patrol is telling people to stay off the roads.

My kids wanted to take my snowmobile to town and ride around on the roads.

Maybe the world will end tomorrow like some people think... We should ask Pat, he lives in tomorrow....
