RH and Temperature Question

I drilled several test holes, inserted sleeves and returned to the first test hole about 15-20 minutes later. Inserted a RapidRH reader in the first test hole and got a temp. of 85 and a RH of 75. The other test holes were in this same general range. Later in the day I took readings and the temp was down around 70 and the RH was up around 80. Can anyone help me understand what is going on?
