RE: Announcing the Bigger and Badder Insertion Tool
What is the new tool made of?
Is it an environmentally friendly bamboo? Recyclable aluminum? JD Grafton Concrete Answers for Flooring Problems JGrafton@ccsolves.com |

RE: Announcing the Bigger and Badder Insertion Tool
I never thought of using one for checking the straightness of the hole.

RE: Announcing the Bigger and Badder Insertion Tool
I think the new one will be the size of the required hole so you can verify if the probe will fit.
Wagner has received some complaints that the new sensor is difficult to install, but I bet Jason slips them in easily in his laboratory / bat-cave.... He probably figured out some installers were using a drill bit handed down by their great-great grandfather and either the holes are undersized or they are so wobbly that they aren't round enough to receive the sensor. Just guessing here though.... JD Grafton Concrete Answers for Flooring Problems JGrafton@ccsolves.com |

RE: Announcing the Bigger and Badder Insertion Tool
My bet is that it is made of plastic like the one for the blue sensor. Must be a result of an earlier post where somone was having a difficult time placing the new orange one.

RE: Announcing the Bigger and Badder Insertion Tool
I can see an aluminum one being pounded in a hole and becoming a permanent fixture of the floor!!!
