ASTM E1907 ?!?

I just had a proposal come across my desk referancing ASTM E 1907-06a Standard Guide to Methods of Evaluating Moisture Conditions of Concrete Floors to Receive Resilient Floor Coverings.

Can anyone give me some background on it?

I read it was withdrawn and replaced by F710. So.... what should I think?

Was that an architectural spec? Wouldn't surprise me if it was considering how so many just cut and paste with no clue what they're preparing for bid.

It was actually in a proposal from an ICRI testing company. I called them on it. Seems to me it may be trying to over complicate the proposal with ASTM.

But whatever, I gave their proposal to the client along with 3 others.
