We're expecting a housing bubble here soon.

My investment property in a mining town is now looking like less of a bad idea Blush But the inner city areas are now looking overpriced, and when that happens, building slows down.

It depends how bad things get in your neck of the woods, and with the Euro. But our tradies were definitely quiet in December.

So I guess you gotta focus on the work which pays, and steer clear of the high-hassle, low-margin stuff. It's tight but safe.
