We as the manufacture only allow three different adhesives. This guy bought his own and he is now on his own.

There's my point right there.

Manufacturers will quickly wash their hands of jobs that don't follow their requirements or use unapproved materials. And they have the right to! They know what they need to have to perform as designed.
