I measured a job today to give a mitigation proposal. The job is at a home for old folks with Alzheimer's. My grandma had Alzheimer's and I had to care for her when I was in my early teens. It is a devastating disease that I pray none of us ever get.

Seeing these old folks wandering around, sometimes shouting out for no reason or doing weird things sure took me back to my early days. My grandma was an amazing woman throughout her entire life until the disease destroyed her mind. It is very sad to watch proud respected loved ones degrade in such a way.

If I get the job I'll try my very best to be respectful of these wonderful people and try to brighten their day if I can.
