One method of documentation that i have adopted is to grab an object from the job site that can only be linked to that particular site, such as a business card with the sites address on it and the person's name that you met at the site prior to and during the testing. Also i use a camera that is GPS enabled in order to geographically stamp my general location. With this same camera i always take the pictures in order from the first picture
of the exterior building envelope along with any available signage to the same picture of the building envelope with time and GPS stamping that is emailed to myself from my camera and saved to my internet email box and stored forever.
