Do you carry a weapon on the job?

In about 45 days Wisconsin becomes the 49th state to allow some form of concealed carry. Illinois is the last holdout.

It made me wonder if anyone carries a weapon (gun or knife) while on the job.

90+% of our work is on school grounds... no way.

We even have contracts now that don't allow the guys a smoke break. (which I am happy about - do not like smoking / cancer sticks)

Some of the smoking rules I don't like.. I have a couple guys that smoke and they need to walk a couple blocks away to smoke on some jobs. That costs me money in lost productivity!
