Reader Longevity

I think Ron told me this but I fergot. How long does my reader last and can I change the battery if it dies? If not why not!!!

These are good questions and can you can find the answers on the Rapid RH FAQ page. The answers are outline below for easier reference:

The Rapid RH Reader should last anywhere from 7,000 to 9,000 on/off cycles.

Wagner does not recommend battery replacement. If your battery dies while still under warranty, send it back with a copy of the proof of purchase date, the reason for return and Wagner will replace your reader. If the reader is not under warranty, please discard and purchase a new reader from one of our distributors or at rapidrh.com

The reading value is generated in the sensor so all readers will read the same.

I have a couple readers but I'll be darned if I know where they are. I keep leaving them at jobsites so the GC or owner can read the probes. It just makes sense because some of these jobs are 3, 4 or even 7 hours away.
