You got me there. If you are putting wood floors on bad slabs then yes moisture can be the issue.

Why do you use these trowel on vapor retarders? Especially if you keep having failures using them! What do you tell your clients when these failures happen?

Uhhh, yeah! I don't have any buckling wood floors, but I've never used a trowel on vapor retarder either....
