RE: Self-leveling concrete - My bonehead mistake
try a barrel of water with blocks of ice to cool the water.
watch the four temperatures; water, powder, ambient and slab. The cooler the better, but not below 50 degrees Rayt |

RE: Self-leveling concrete - My bonehead mistake
I should make a cooling coil to drop in a barrel of ice.... Like I have for cooling beer wort!
I bet 100' of 1/2" copper coiled up with a garden hose fitting on each end and then dropped into a barrel of ice would chill the flowing water just fine. JD Grafton Concrete Answers for Flooring Problems JGrafton@ccsolves.com |

RE: Self-leveling concrete - My bonehead mistake
I know a long coil of tubing in a cooler of ice can keep beer cold for drinking. If you just use blocks of ice you can dip the cooled water out and add more as you need it. Many of the installers using self-levelers in the hot country will use 10 - 15 blockss of ice to chill their water. Try to keep the water temp below 70F. It doesn't have to be as cold, as does beer.

Normally, when we ban someone for spamming, we delete any junk that they've posted... it looks like we missed that one.
@Ray - If you'd like to be able to ban people, let us know. In the past, we've tried to keep on top of the spammers so you don't have to worry about it. - admin |
