Flooring Failure & 99%RH

#3
Thanks for your reply. I appreciate it. Once the Koster is applied would it then be okay to apply the flooring (because we did)?

I have not stopped worrying about all this since the leak happened. I have learned way to much about concrete, RH, testing meters, CaCl tests, ground water, sprinkers, drains, plumbing. This has been exhausting. I just want to make sure I did the right thing for my family and our health.

I am thinking about ripping up the floor that doesn't have the Koster and putting the Koster on that part of the slab since it is in the adjacent room to where the leak is. I don't want to have to go through this again.

The challenge with the RH test and all tests is that they are a snapshot of a moment in time. It doesn't tell you what the future RH will be. I had no idea flooring could be this challenging.

If this wasn't my house I would find concrete extremely interesting.
