Ardex V1200

#13
3/8" is a lot of leveler. I usually put down 3/16". You need an 1/8" minimum for most glues.

A bag of K-15 covers about 44 sf at 3/16" or 22sf at 3/8". If you buy a bag at $31 you have $1.41 per sf cost. Figure 7 cents for primer and 30 cents for labor, some tax and profit and you have a leveling cost of under $2/sf.

Epoxy to handle 99%RH is $1.50/sf. Blast for anywhere between .50 and $1 including edge grinding. Installing epoxy and filling cracks figure .50 cents.

Right now I am quoting complete jobs for between $3.75 and $4.75/sf. Small jobs (less than 3,000sf) between $4.75 and $6.00/sf.

Please note: V1200 doesn't go as far as K15. K15 takes more water in the mix and the bags are 10% bigger. I figure my cost difference between K15 and V1200 is about 20 cents per sf. Not that big of a difference really, but over 30,000 sf it sure can be, and when you need something filled an inch it can be.
