I do a lot of this type of work in the spring and summer and install a lot of Ardex CD. Was it bad finishing or settling over a poorly prepped sub-base. JD is right, Ardex CD might be just the right product. My advice also is to stay away from ANY exterior self leveler, regardless of the manufacturer or their reputation for self levelers. I've seen too many fixes that don't last.

If it was bad prep before the pour, tear it out and relace it over a well compacted sub-base under a 4" gravel bed!

Not true! Actually, that reminds me of a funny story about motorsport...

I did actually ask a question about the pour of the concrete in question, which I think CCR may have answered... Smile

Now what was that funny story...

Hey, now who's getting off topic?! Big Grin

Yep, my morning is your evening. I visit my favourite barista, arrive at work with a fresh brew, throw on the papooter and see what you good folks have been up to in concrete land. Beats reading the daily rag.

Stay away from mining stocks, that's all I'm saying...

Speaking of java, I just stopped at a local bean roaster and picked up a pound of heavenly smelling fresh roasted beans... I can hardly wait for morning, or evening I guess for you!
