Who Says Rapid Rh Reads High? - Ernesto - 08-07-2012 07:29 PM Tested a slab on grade, almost in the wash, probably one of the lowest points in the area as far as water tables run. Got readings of 67 to 70% rh @ 70 to 72 F. Getting tons of rain down here and water puddles in the yard. Home is 15 years old at least so doubt there is a vapor barrier underneath. I was certain I would get at least a 95% rh. Goes to show you never know. I be gluing some engineered hardwood down with Sika T-21. Didja know Sika has no numbers for either 1869 or 2170? RE: Who Says Rapid Rh Reads High? - CCR - 08-10-2012 01:45 PM I've seen a number of manufacturers of various products who don't state tolerance levels or requirements. Surprising to say the least. RE: Who Says Rapid Rh Reads High? - eaadams - 08-20-2012 01:46 PM I had some test results just come back on a project. Slab is 2.5 years old and I was convinced it would come in wet. Every test came in from the 70s - 80s. Thoroughly surprised. RE: Who Says Rapid Rh Reads High? - CC Solutions - 08-20-2012 07:07 PM Well that's great! |
