Dew Point Video and Orange Shirts - Ernesto - 04-24-2012 04:51 PM
Uh, well Jason didn't thoroughly esplain how to accurately figure out dewpoint for one thing, what a waste of bandspace. And orange shirts...really? I just wanna know if the women are required to wear orange as well?
Why Concrete Dew Point is Important in Flooring Installations

Waste of band space….That hurts Ernesto!
For someone as highly experienced as you, the explanation probably wasn’t thorough enough, but for most of the people out there that have watched it, it gets them thinking about something that many know nothing of, nor pay attention to. That is the whole purpose due to limited time constraints on the videos.
As far as the Orange shirts, I am quite fond of them and find them to be the perfect branding touch for the RRH.

Well, I was hoping for some in depth scientific calculations and maybe something I don't know. sigh, Your cinematographer did say your were a tease. Thats 2:14 minutes wasted out of my life and for whut?
I guess it is a good sales pitch for your tools. Probably intended as one.

scientific calculations? I just leave the cheat sheet in my RH kit.
Do you ever have dew point issues in AZ?

None I have ever detected, not that it never happens. But I carry a cheat sheet as well.

Oh let me get on the pick-on-Jason train!!!
You need a better finish.... "This is Jason Spangler, signing off." is not going to get you to Hollywood.
Let's come up with a cool sign off for Jason's videos!
1. This is Jason Spangler with Wagner Meters, gooood DAY! (Use your best Paul Harvey voice)
2. For Wagner Meters, I am Jason Spangler, thank you for your time.
3. I'm Jason Spangler, if you have any questions about this video please call my cell phone at (***) ###-####.
4. Rubber Duck, this is the Cotton Mouth, catch you on the flip side good buddy, we gone, bye bye.

I have tried to talk the producers into letting me sign off like:
This is Jason Spangler with Wagner Meters, OUT!! Unfortunately, they say some guy named Ryan Seacrest already uses that one!

Perhaps we could have a contest on your next newsletter for the best sign-off. No, not a wet T-shirt contest. Winner wins a lovely bright orange Wagner T-shirt. It would help the traffic here.
Or even better, a 3 tiered winning contest, 1st 2nd and 3rd with different prizes. 1st place wins a new thermohygrometer, 2nd, a ph meter and 3rd, a complete Plastic Sheet Test Kit(ASTM-D-4263).
Come to think of it, I just don't understand why Wagner does not sell a Plastic Sheet Test Kit.
Ohhh, idea! I might have to start selling those on Ebay.

I think there are only 3 or 4 regular posters to the forum... so that seems kinda rigged.
I like the videos perfectly fine. I use them almost once a week to send to clients. Keep it up Wagner, they are a huge help.

No....this is a marketing ploy. He does the contest on the newsletter and they have to come here for the contest. I'm certain the mailing list is even larger than the member list for this forum, least one would hope. hmmmmm, I remember seeing a members list here somewhere. Oh well
