Take sleeves out? - Joe Greenberg - 10-21-2008 10:40 AM

Once I’m through taking my RH measurements and filing the report, do I take the RapidRH sleeves out of the test holes before patching it up?

Joe,
No, it is extremely difficult to remove the sensors without damaging them. Use the metal cap that is supplied with the sensors. Set the metal cap on top of the sensor, then patch over the area where the sensor is placed. Then if ever there is a need to re-test this area you can use a metal detector to find the sensor, remove the patch, vacuum the sensor to remove and dust or debris. Then insert the reader for any additional data.
Regards,
Rayt

I too agree with the point. It is difficult to remove the sensors without damaging them.
