It's a DeWalt Cordless Hammer Drill DC212KA. $369 at Home Depot online. It does the job just fine. I use the 18v lithium batteries exclusively and get 5-7 holes per battery. Usually have 4-5 batteries and 3 chargers with me on every job since they have to cool down before you put them back in the charger. I also use 3/4" Metabo SDS Plus 4 cutter bits...last a long time.

The cordless is great for smaller jobs or spaces that are broken up. But in open spaces with no other trades to work around, I still use my corded Bosch.

However, if you have $1,000 + to burn, you could get a 36v cordless Bosch...that bad boy just tears through concrete Big Grin

Here's another recommendation. Just bought a 18v DeWalt grinder for prepping for calcium chloride tests. Works great with a 4 or 5" wheel with PCD cutters! Especially when grinding off tough carpet adhesive. And with a standard dust shroud, it connects perfectly to the DeWalt Cordless Vac and no dust.

A 20" x 20" area is done in less than a minute!! Only downside is that I only get 4 or 5 test areas done before it's time to change out the battery. I take 6 batteries on jobs which is usually plenty for most sized jobs.

Grinder from HD ($90). PCD 4" wheel from Tool City ($79)

Everyone should be aware of these new Silica dust rules coming down the pipe. I've already had one inspector not allow our my cordless dewalt on site to vac out small holes.
