I am not familiar with self consolidating concrete, but a super plasticizer typically helps reduce cracking because it reduces the amount of excess water needed to place the concrete.

Are these surface cracks or are they deeper? When you say stress cracks I think of shrinkage cracks, the concrete is restrained by steel, sub-soil and other factors and as it dries and shrinks there is a great amount of stress built up and it has to shrink, so it cracks.

they are mostly surface cracks - some bigger then others.
they told me that the Super P dries the concrete so fast that these cracks are very common.

A super plasticizer allows you to reduce the amount of mix water which could limit the amount of bleed water causing the surface to dry more rapidly.

To insure proper surface curing you can always wet cure or use a curing spray. This will maximize surface water and promote cement hydration at the surface.

Surface cracks are commonly cosmetic and don't go very deep.
