How thick is your floor?

#21
Well my guess is the same as what happened with me, in the exact same situation (latex sealer, miracle glue, failure immediately.... Hey, are you me, posting when I have those blackout periods??? Confused )

Anyway, I probed the slab for depth readings and found it varied between 4 and 9 inches. Exclamation

What kind of concrete installers get that sloppy? Maybe they aren't backfilling the cement truck tracks as the truck backs out? It sure makes a poor slab when the thickness varies!!!

4-9 is QUITE a range. Maybe they were charging by the yard ($ cha-ching). I just wish they'd quit power troweling the heck out of new concrete. Isn't anybody out there listening, reading, or learning anything from their mistakes???
