Building in Service?

#1
Here’s a story for you – and I thought I had seen most everything. I know it can make sense to get the HVAC system up and running as a way of creating a controlled environment and drying the concrete floor slab more quickly. After all, pretty much every contractor agrees that time is money. But what about putting the HVAC into service before the walls are even in place? Don’t believe me? Well, check out these pictures (attached) from a job site. And yes, the HVAC really is in service and running. So what do you think? Does this contractor know something I don’t about getting his concrete slab ready for next steps? Or is this simply someone’s pie-in-the-sky idea about adding some warmth to the outside air?
