In most cases, the Smart Sensor will be within 3% of the final reading (at 72 hours according to ASTM F2170) one hour after the installation.

This prompt initial reading and known concrete drying performance curves lets you make business decisions much faster than with other relative humidity sensing devices.

Subsequent readings in the test hole

So to obtain subsequent readings, just insert the easy-to-use, compact and re-usable Rapid RH^® Easy Reader into the installed Smart Sensor and take another reading - IMMEDIATELY. No re-installation; no re-equilibration; just rapid “leap-frog” capabilities.

Because readings from any Rapid RH^® 4.0 EX Smart Sensor can easily be taken numerous times prior to floor installation, it is easy and fast to track the drying progress of the slab over hours, days or weeks.
